Since 2014, Carlos Simioni (founding actor of Lume Theater) and Stephane Brodt (founding actor of Amok Theater) are pedagogical directors of the APA - Actor Research Studio.
The APA, project of SESC Paraty, is a nucleus of continuous research on the art of acting that aims at the construction of a new and powerful training methodology for actors and researchers.
The workshop The Sensitive Body led by Brodt and Simioni is the result of the research developed in the APA over four years, where these two pedagogues put in dialogue their knowledges and more than 30 years of experience, opening new ways for the actor’s training.
